The Social Administration Nordost works to provide residents in northeastern Gothenburg with equal and effective welfare, enabling them to live safe and independent lives. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for new colleagues for Children and Youth in Hjällbo. The units consist of 12 social workers, two senior social workers, and a unit manager, which allows for close supervision. We actively work to maintain high quality in our case handling and continuously learn the authority practices we work with. As a social worker in Children and Youth, you will investigate the needs of children and young people for protection and support and follow up on interventions based on applicable legislation, Sol and LVU.

As an investigating social worker, you will work for and with children and their families. We deal with complex cases involving vulnerability, crime, norm-breaking behavior, and honor-related issues, which we find rewarding and developing.

We work according to the FAS model, which allows us to structure and plan our work satisfactorily. FAS offers a work structure where caseworkers, together with their colleagues, work in 4 different phases. This means that you will receive new cases every 6th-7th week in FAS1, and in between, you will have space to actively work on your investigations before the entire unit enters FAS 1. This is appreciated by employees as it provides a sense of more control and structure.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work, as this is a requirement for the position. We consider it an advantage if you have experience in authority practices related to children and youth. It is also advantageous if you have experience in authority practices in other areas and if you have specific expertise in areas such as honor-related violence and domestic violence. A B driver's license is considered an advantage.

You have a clear child perspective in your work and see it as self-evident that children should be involved based on their conditions, age, and maturity. We are looking for someone who takes responsibility for their own and the shared tasks with the organization's - and the individual's best interests in focus and understands your role as a social worker in a politically governed organization.
